The holidays are sure to sparkle this season when The Shops at The Bravern continue their opening celebration with all things wonderful, from fashion shows to winter faeries.
The wonder begins with The Bravern's elegant holiday décor featuring live garland and thousands of sparkling lights showcasing the fountains, open air piazzas and the newly installed public art. And the wonder continues with more than 80 live performances featuring jazz bands, orchestral music, choirs and dance. Add to that the Roving Runway fashion shows featuring the latest fashions and gifts from Anthropologie, Brooks Brothers Country Club, DNA 2050, Tory Burch, Wolford, Jimmy Choo, Piazza Sempione and Sur La Table, as well as The Bravern Giving Tree benefitting Washington Women In Need, Bellevue Schools Foundation and Dress for Success-Seattle and there should be festivity aplenty between shopping and dining.
For those looking to enjoy the scenery and the season, complimentary warm drinks will be served fireside at both the 110th Avenue NE fireplace as well as the NE Eighth Street fireplace beginning at 4 pm each Wednesday and include Artisanal Hot Chocolate, John Howie Spiced Pomegranate-Cranberry Cider, Trophy Cupcakes Hot Spiced Cider or Wild Ginger Orange Ginger Mint Tea.
It's that special something that can only be described as magical and truly wonderful; that is what will make a trip to The Bravern a new holiday tradition for local families.
After all, the Bravern experience is not just for adults. Original, luxuriously costumed, storybook-inspired characters Jack Frost and Joy Lynn Bell will delight patrons young and old throughout the season offering candid and posed photography along with a complimentary candy stick. You will find them Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout The Bravern. You will also catch them reading their favorite stories fireside in Building Two accompanied by elf and faerie face painting every Saturday at 1 pm.
